We are open from 8.30am to 3pm Monday to Friday.
Please come in and have a chat, or give us a call on (06) 867 6770 to talk about enrolment and your tamariki.
We have government-funded hours that enable us to offer a non-fee-paying service.
The Government funds completely cover the cost of children aged three to five attending Early Childhood Education Centres, like Waiapu Kids Te Hapara Whānau Aroha, for up to 20 hours a week. Other Ministry of Education funding supports the other age groups attending and enables us to provide a daily van run to support tamariki and whānau.
The Work and Income Childcare Subsidy is available to help families earning less than a certain threshold with the cost of all preschool childcare. A childcare subsidy is normally paid for up to nine hours per week if parents are not working, studying, or training. For parents who are working, studying, or training, you may be entitled up to 50 hours per week subsidised.
